WHAT IS
LE NÉANT?
LE NÉANT
Founded by Curtis House II, LE NÉANT exists as a conduit of creativity. The multidisciplinary brand leverages materials as canvases for the communication of ideas via the five senses. The brand’s French moniker expresses a formless existence unbound by category - embracing the concept of nothingness as a defining principle for creative output and a catalyst for the antagony of human reality.
CURTIS HOUSE II
Curtis House II is a creative entrepreneur and cultural architect whose influence spans music, nightlife, marketing, and global brand strategy.
Hailing from Chicago’s South-Side, Curtis began his professional career at age 19, cutting his teeth at New York cultural institutions Cornerstone and The FADER during their golden eras. Over the next decade, he contributed heavily to the growth and evolution of Chicago’s music scene; held lifestyle and tastemaker marketing roles at Puma and Boost Mobile; discovered The Cool Kids; and produced a multitude of cultural and social spaces that would establish an aspirational era of multicultural nightlife in Chicago.
From 2010-2015 he extended his cultural impact to a national scale, producing culture-shifting Influencer Marketing at Belvedere Vodka and Hennessy; along with ground-breaking Multicultural Strategy for Grey Goose Vodka and Viniq.
In 2016, Curtis founded MONARCH, a strategic consultancy focused on global trends, consumer insight, and cultural intelligence. Through MONARCH, he became a trusted catalyst for strategic and creative thinking with an over-the-horizon POV, working closely with Adidas, the Los Angeles Sparks, Acura, Bombay Sapphire, Seagram’s Gin, Martell, Amazon Essentials and others.
